Find Rest at the Spring Campout
Join us May 1 - 3, 2026. Zanesfield, Ohio
Come together for three days in the woods of central Ohio. Join us for fun and fellowship at the Kirkmont Center in Zanesfield, Ohio. Reconnect with old and dear friends, forge new friendships, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We are coming together from all over the eastern United States to share skills and knowledge, explore the property to see everything that the beautiful Kirkmont Center has to offer, challenge ourselves, challenge one another, and more!
There will be no vendors at the Spring Campout. We love the businesses and people who routinely come and offer their wares at our events, and they need opportunities to rest, relax, and enjoy an event alongside the other attendees without the pressure of watching their booth. Taking the place of vendor spaces will be a camp-wide trade blanket both evenings of the event where all attendees are encouraged to bring gear, crafts, supplies, and more (As long as it is relevant to the outdoors) and buy, sell and trade. The Trade Blanket has been a staple of these rendezvous for ages and we love seeing everyone come together to partake in a time honored camp tradition.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Reconnect with old friends
Life gets busy. Sometimes, time with friends and loved ones slips away without us realizing it. Take a weekend to be intentional about rekindling some of those friendships without the pressure of the outside world. Share coffee by the fire, practice a new skill together, swap stories while you explore a trail. Reconnect with the old, and connect with the new.
Learn something new
This community is rich in experience and knowledge. Tap into it. If you have a skill that you have been struggling with, something you have always wanted to try, or just something you really love to do in the outdoors, there is someone here to help you out. All you have to do is ask! With less of an emphasis on scheduled programming, the Spring Campout aims to cultivate a more organic and fluid approach to skills practice. These folks live for sharing what they’re passionate about!
Find Rest
Being in nature is healing. So often we go into the wild places burdened by the pressures of life. We feel pressed down, stretched thin, and wholly inadequate from the never ending grind just to survive and make it to the next day. But when we step into creation, we feel those burdens lifted. The wild gently washes off the grime we carry day to day and refreshes our soul. There is nothing on Earth like sitting in the woods with other people who share your interests, and whose spirit is just as tattered as yours. Come into the woods and lay your burdens down.
