Welcome to the Fall Gathering!
Mark your calendars! The 2026 Fall Gathering is October 1 - 4!
Soli Deo Gloria.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Come as you are.
Everyone is weighed down by life. We carry burdens with us daily that steadily erode us into something we were never meant to be and we need an escape. Somewhere to go and find peace, joy, and healing. Fall Gathering offers all of that and more. It doesn’t matter if you’re “outdoorsy” or adventurous, have never set foot in the woods or practically grew up alongside the animals. We want to see you ‘round the fire discovering something new about yourself and rediscovering what peace feels like. We’ll see you in the Fall.
Soli Deo Gloria.
“The Central Ohio Outdoors Fall Gathering feels like… home. I’ve attended for at least 4 or 5 years now and it is always a highlight of the year for me. The Fall Gathering is a welcoming place to camp, learn new skills, hang out with old friends, make new friends, and pick up a few pieces of gear from the vendors. Caleb, the organizer, is all about making your experience as smooth as possible.” - Jayberry Miller, Owner & CEO of Tuff Possum Gear

What to Expect -
The Fall Gathering is hosted at the Kirkmont Center, a camp & retreat center nestled in the hills above Zanesfield, Ohio. With the camp come some wonderful amenities that make the gathering accessible to anyone! So what does the Fall Gathering have to offer??
Camping / Lodging:
Fall Gathering is open to all primitive camping options including Tents, Tarps, Hammocks and the good ol’ Bed Roll. We are blessed with the freedom to camp anywhere within the designated camping zones and are not bound by pre-determined campsites. Please be considerate of others, and respectful of the venue when selecting your site!
We also offer space to car-camp! Whether you want to camp close to your vehicle, or in your vehicle, there are spots available to do so. Please not that the car camping area is nearly devoid of trees and natural shade so please plan accordingly.
Space near the event is very limited and we try our best to prevent a heavy vehicle presence. Small travel trailers and campers are permitted, but please check with us regarding the size of your rig before committing. You can inquire about your trailer/camper at our email: askcentralohiooutdoors@gmail.com
Please note, there is NO HOOKUP for electric, sewage, or water on the property.
Camping not your thing, but still want to check out the event? Reserve a bunk! We have a very limited number of bunks in the lodge (Less than 10) that can be reserved for the weekend for $10.00 each. Please email us for bunk reservations. You will need to bring your own bedding to use in a bunk, bedding is not provided.
All Camping options with the exception of a bunk reservation are included with your ticket purchase!
Facilities:
You don’t need to worry about leaving all of the comforts of home behind when you attend Fall Gathering! The venue offers some excellent facilities to keep you feeling human while you stretch your wild side.
Restrooms are available at all times in the lodge. Not only do these restrooms include flush toilets & sinks, but showers too! All of this is open to you to use as much as you need during the weekend. You will need to bring your own toiletries and supplies.
Miami Bath House: At the bottom of the event space stands a trusty bath house. This supplies the event with more flush toilets, sinks, and showers that are open to us for use during the event. In true summer camp fashion, it’s “Rustic” and no frills, but it gets the job done and offers the opportunity for those who aren’t comfortable with the “Dig a hole in the woods” routine.
Port-A-John’s: There will be port-a-johns on site as well to make sure all the angles are covered and that we have some sort of facility available when nature calls!
FAQs:
Is Food Provided At Fall Gathering?
No food is provided by the event. Please plan accordingly and come prepared. The venue sits within 15 minutes of the city of Bellefontaine which has a Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, multiple dollar stores, gas stations, all the fast food options, and several sit down restaurants. For immediate needs, the village of East Liberty is 5 minutes away and has a mini-mart with an ATM, ice, snacks, drinks, and a handful of grocery staples.
Is Fall Gathering Pet Friendly?
Yes! Your furry friends are more than welcome at Fall Gathering. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and pets must be on leash at all times. Please note: Animals deemed disruptive and/or aggressive may be removed from the event at the host’s discretion.
Do I need to bring firewood?
Nope! We are free to harvest and gather as much wood as we want for Fall Gathering so long as it is already dead, and down. Felling of standing wood is strictly prohibited and will result in removal from the event.
Can I have my own campfire at my campsite?
Absolutely! A private campfire is a great way to rest and relax with a little more privacy and an absolute staple of any camping event. Personal campfires MUST be contained in a dug pit with replaceable sod and you MUST have a water bucket at your site at all times. Fires cannot be left unsupervised and must be extinguished completely before being left unattended for any length of time. Please note: ONLY wood or paper is permitted to be burned in both private and the communal campfires. All other items are prohibited.
Can I carry my firearm?
No. Kirkmont policy is no firearm’s on premise and out of respect for them, we ask that you leave your personal weapon secured in your vehicle for the duration of your stay at Fall Gathering.
Is alcohol permitted at the event?
No. Alcohol, Marijuana, and all illegal substances are strictly prohibited at all Central Ohio Outdoors & More events and programs.
